Back in ‘96 when cats were Jockin Jay-Z (and Reasonable Doubt), I was vibing to East Flatbush Project’s Tried By 12. I don’t remember if I heard this first on the Wake Up Show or on one of the many self-made pause and stop mixtapes I put together, but I clearly remember being mesmerized by that hypnotizing loop. I haven’t heard any new material from them since. Until now. Just got an email with a brand new track featuring Stress alongside Peter Pallis of Anaka. Good to see these dudes still at it.
